Berg Engineering is pleased to announce the execution of a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with Polman Bandung, Indonesia’s leading polytechnic institute, to collaborate in the field of mechanical engineering.
The MOU seeks to deliver solutions and innovations to the Indonesian market by bringing together Berg’s engineering expertise in the manufacturing, re-engineering and refurbishment of assets for heavy industry, with Polman’s on-the-ground knowledge of the needs and challenges facing Indonesia’s mining, energy and infrastructure markets.
Berg’s Principal Partner Nilu Berg said: “We are thrilled to be further strengthening our ties with Indonesia through this partnership. Polman Bandung has a long history of excellence in engineering as both a centre for education and a hub for innovation.
“Together, our goal is to share knowledge and skills that will benefit our respective domestic markets as we support our clients in their ongoing quest for asset optimisation. In particular, the MOU aims to address and resolve the challenges faced by Indonesian industry, thereby helping businesses to remain competitive on the local and global stage.”
The signing of the MOU on 7 November included a tour of Polman’s impressive facilities in Bandung City, West Java.
The partnership follows several Berg initiatives in Indonesia as our presence in the region continues to grow.
