Muhammad Iqbal
GENERAL MANAGER (INDONESIA)
Muhammad Iqbal joined Berg in 2018. He previously served as Managing Director of Bligh Mining (2011–2016), where he worked on mining ventures across Indonesia, including a joint venture with Sampoerna Strategic. He has deep expertise in manganese mining in West Timor.
Since 2016, Mr. Iqbal has focused on the Waste-to-Energy sector, representing leading German firms Christof Industries and Oschatz Energy & Environment in developing projects across Indonesia. He is also Managing Director of PT Dharmabakti Purna Wira (PEPABRI), supporting the welfare of over 500,000 retired armed forces members.
In addition, he founded and chairs the Tirta Amarta Paripurna foundation, dedicated to advancing Indonesia’s national vision. Earlier in his career, he led EPN Consulting (2000–2011) and held senior roles in the seafood export industry.
