Berg Launches Berg Mining Solutions to Tackle Industry-Wide Pump Challenges
Berg Engineering is proud to announce the official launch of Berg Mining Solutions, a dedicated division created to address critical issues surrounding slurry pump performance, cost, and supply in the mining and processing sectors.
With increasing pressure on operations due to rising costs, reliability concerns, and lengthy lead times for OEM pump parts, Berg Mining Solutions has been formed to offer a smarter, more sustainable approach. Leveraging the deep engineering and manufacturing expertise of Berg’s leadership team and workshop personnel, the new division develops tailored solutions that optimise the performance and longevity of slurry pumps.

Key offerings from Berg Mining Solutions include:
- New builds – manufacture and supply of a full range Slurry Pumps, including Gravel and Dredge pumps, available in sizes from 1/ 3/4” to 20 / 18”. Pumps can be tailored to client specifications.
- Rebuilds – service and refurbishment of all pump models, from 1/ 3/4” through to 20 / 18”, plus a large spare parts inventory of Warman equivalent pumps and components.
- Asset management and optimisation – pump assessments and audits to understand existing pain points, and ongoing reliability support to reduce downtime and total cost of ownership.
In line with Berg’s core values, Berg Mining Solutions prioritises long-term value over short-term fixes. The team partners with clients to improve operational reliability, efficiency, and performance while reducing reliance on expensive, long-lead-time OEM parts.
