When the pressure is on, Berg is ready

Unexpected repairs do not wait for business hours. When the pressure is on, Berg’s 24/7 emergency response capability gives you peace of mind that support is available when you need it.

Call our 24/7 response line: 0408 700 169.

For non-urgent maintenance, email us sales@bergengineering.com.au

How our response works

1. Contact
One call reaches our response team, day or night. Tell us what has failed and what it is holding up.
2. Assess
We establish the facts fast - positive material identification, 3D scanning, dimensional inspection and NDT where required - so the repair path is chosen on evidence, not assumption.
3. Mobilise
Labour and material availability are confirmed as a priority so a lead time can be issued quickly. Work is scheduled into our Brisbane and Gladstone facilities, or our team mobilises to your site.
4. Restore and improve
The asset is returned to service fit for purpose, with findings documented so the same failure is less likely to repeat.

Who we support

Our 24/7 response supports maintenance superintendents, shutdown coordinators, reliability engineers, site managers and procurement teams across:

Support is provided from our Brisbane and Gladstone facilities.

Our maintenance philosophy

Our philosophy is underpinned by The Stability Cycle framework, which aims to drive long-term operational excellence.

Every maintenance team shares the same objective: maximise asset availability and minimise cost per unit of production.

At Berg Engineering, we believe the most effective way to achieve this is by keeping critical assets operating within their design intent.

Through engineering expertise, precision refurbishment and trusted technical advice, we help clients understand emerging asset risks and recommend interventions that keep equipment within its design intent.

When unexpected events do occur, our 24/7 emergency response capability enables us to rapidly restore asset stability, minimise disruption to production, and use the lessons learned to strengthen future asset performance

Frequently asked questions

Is Berg's emergency line monitored outside business hours?

Yes. Our 24/7 response line is monitored around the clock, including weekends and public holidays.

How quickly can Berg respond?

Response time depends on the scope and the component, but urgent work is prioritised from the moment we take the call. We have supplied critical rotating assemblies back to site within 24 hours.

Do you work on site, or does the component come to you?

Both. We have onsite and in-situ machining capability for components that cannot be removed, and full workshop capacity in Brisbane and Gladstone when the component can come to us.

What if we don't know what has failed yet?

That is a common starting point. We can begin with assessment — material identification, dimensional inspection, 3D scanning and NDT — and define the repair scope from there.

Do you support planned shutdowns as well as breakdowns?

Yes. Much of our emergency work happens inside live shutdowns, and we also plan and deliver scheduled shutdown scopes.

Does Berg have the capability to perform the work?

A fast response is only useful if the workshop behind it can deliver. Berg brings more than 50 years of engineering, machining, fabrication and refurbishment experience to every emergency job — the same people, equipment and quality systems that handle our planned work.
