Queensland mechanical engineering firm Berg Engineering is pleased to announce the appointment of Patrick Fordyce as Chief Executive Officer.
Patrick succeeds Derek Berg, who has transitioned to the role of Executive Chairman as part of a planned leadership succession designed to support the company’s continued growth across Australia, South East Asia and Papua New Guinea.
Having served as Chief Operating Officer, Patrick has played an integral role in strengthening Berg Engineering’s operational performance, developing high-performing teams and delivering engineering, manufacturing and maintenance solutions across the mining, non-ferrous metals, energy, defence and infrastructure sectors. His appointment reflects the Board’s confidence in his leadership and commitment to the company’s long-term vision.
Mr Berg will continue to play an active role in the business as Executive Chairman, focusing on strategic growth, expanding Berg Engineering’s presence throughout Southeast Asia and Papua New Guinea, strengthening key partnerships, and supporting the company’s long-term direction.
