What We Do

Berg has built its business on the back of collaborative client relationships and personalised service. From our humble beginnings over forty years ago manufacturing garbage bin axles, Berg has since amassed considerable expertise providing our clients with high-risk, critical parts. In particular, we have developed a strong reputation for maintaining and managing rotable assets including pumps, valves and gearboxes.

Large Capacity & Precision Machining

Berg has over $20 million invested in modern computer-controlled machinery and expert fitting capabilities to meet basic through to complex requirements. We produce an extensive range of products and specialise in large, complex and difficult to source items and components.

Specialised Welding Services

Berg have extensively developed capabilities and offer our clients:

 

  • Welding, corrosion resistance, hard-facing and wear plate expertise;
  • AICIP Certified inspectors,
  • CSWIP & WTIA Cert 10 Qualified Welding supervisor,
  • ASME (BPVC) IX and AS3992,
  • AINDT Level II & Level III Technicians,
  • Exotic welding qualifications SS and Ti,
  • NATA Accredited NDT facility offering services including Liquid Dye Penetrant, Radiography Inspection, Ultrasonic Testing, Magnetic Particle Inspection and Hydrostatic Testing.

Berg Engineering provide our clients with a one-stop shop for all their fabrication needs. Our mission is to provide our clients with certainty in optimising the life of their assets and the best ROI on repairs of rotables. In line with our mission, all components meet or exceed existing design standards. These are proven through our own NATA endorsed Lab for testing and our metallurgical analysts.
